1 Year Anniversary

#3 1 Year Anniversary: He picked up a bouquet of flowers, big red roses to bring to his bride, her favorite flowers for the anniversary of 1 year, right  to the day. Getting in his car and placing the roses on the passenger's side he began to drive. As he drove he thought of their wedding. He remembered as he held his breath as she began to walk down when the wedding march began. He remembered taking her off her father's arm and leading her to the rail. He remembered her smiling face as he lifted up her veil, holding hands, the kiss, and the reception. More importantly he remembered how good she made him feel, knowing now that he married the most wonderful women in the world and that she was all his. Parking the car, he took up the flowers and began to climb up a little steep grassy hill, passing some markers along the way. Finally he reached his destination. "Here Lies Kathy Oakes, beloved Daughter and Wife 1979-2008" The Stone reads. He remembered that it was raining, they had just come back home from their honey moon, somehow the car began to slide on the road and the newlyweds were hit in a head on collision, the doctors could do nothing more to save her life. Placing the flowers on her grave, Mr. Oakes kneels down and says a prayer for his beautiful bride.
