Finally finished one of the drawings in my folder. It is an illustration of Sr. Alice Josephine's poem to baby Jesus. Full view for a better look. Here I have depicted the Blessed Mother using the moon as a rocking chair as she sings the poem to the baby Jesus as a lullabye to rock Him to sleep.I tried to make the letters look like gold but my success was limited. In case you can't read it I'll post it below. "Sleep, O Sleep My Lovely Babe For Angels Guard above And Joseph too doth watch with tenderness and love Sleep O Sleep Dear Little One How bright Thy beauty grows O sleep my King, My God For here Love holds thee close."
Thank you.Yes she probably did. I can imagine them as being the sweetest ones ever sung by any mother, being that she is the fairest and loving of all mothers.
Thanks. Yeah, I was trying to make it look like the song was made out of golden letters but the color I chose I guess was too dark more so in some places than others. I used artrage, worte the letters out with the pencil tool and then painted over it.
